NM Motorfest is New Mexico Motor Events’ full-scale vehicle culture event series, bringing together a wide range of builds, vendors, live stage programming, and a structured event experience.
Built as a destination-style format, NM Motorfest is a large-format, ticketed event designed to deliver a full day of activity for both show participants and attendees. The event combines a curated show field, vendor presence, and live programming into a consistent, organized environment.
From customs, lowriders, hot rods, lifted trucks, home built rides, SEMA-level builds, Barrett-Jackson-style stunners, motorcycles, rat rods, drag cars, and UTVs, NM Motorfest represents a broad mix of vehicle culture and the full event experience.
Event Experience
NM Motorfest is produced with a focus on layout, flow, and overall experience. Attendees can expect a complete event footprint that includes show vehicles, vendor areas, stage programming, music, food vendors, and activity throughout the day.
The event is designed to provide a strong, consistent environment that supports vendors, engages attendees, and highlights the vehicles as the centerpiece of the experience.
2026 Event
NM Motorfest 2026 was held at Expo New Mexico Racetrack Infield in Albuquerque as part of the Route 66 Centennial, expanding the event footprint and overall production for a larger-scale experience.
The event brought together vehicles, vendors, and attendees from across the region and continues to build on the foundation established in its first year.
Event Access & Parking
On-site parking at Expo New Mexico is managed by the State of New Mexico. Parking operations, pricing, and traffic flow are controlled by the venue. For NM Motorfest 2026, all event access was directed through Gate 8 at Louisiana Blvd NE in accordance with venue operations. Post-event coordination with the venue is underway to improve access flow for future events.
Nonprofit Partnership
NM Motorfest includes a nonprofit partnership component through Outlaw Desert Racing, a registered 501(c)(3) organization focused on veteran outreach and adrenaline therapy. A portion of event proceeds supports their ongoing programs.
